About KKR & KSR Institute of Technology and Sciences
KKR & KSR Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS), established in 2008 by GSR & KKR Educational Society, is located in Vinjanampadu village, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. The campus spans 11 acres in a serene rural environment, providing an ideal setting for higher education.
The institution is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and permanently affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK). KITS is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for five undergraduate branches—CSE, ECE, EEE, Mechanical, and Civil—valid for three years from 2018. Additionally, it holds an “A” grade from NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), valid for five years since 2016.
At KITS, the focus on innovation is reinforced by the presence of the MHRD – Institution Innovation Council (IIC), Skill Development Centre by APSSDC, a Center of Excellence by Dell-EMC, and an E-Yantra Lab by IIT Mumbai. The college is committed to nurturing a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation. The Innovation and Start-up Centre supports students, faculty, and staff in transforming their entrepreneurial ideas into successful ventures.
